CINNABAR

Cinnabar is created by volcanic activity, it contains Mercury Sulphide and is toxic in dust form, but safe in its Gem state. The red pigment  has been used on Jewellery for thousands of years. It is also called 'The Philosophers Stone' and 'The Merchants Stone' because it has a connection with wealth.
