Single Teardrop 41mm Long Bowlerite Cabochon

The cabochon measures approx 41 mm long 14 mm wide 8 mm high (This may vary slightly).

Although size, colour and pattern vary slightly they have been graded for good quality and consistency.

Bowlerite is an up-cycled "Gemstone" made from the outer shell of old,
out-of-commission bowling balls. Artists cut and polish this durable,
colourful plastic into unique pieces of jewellery, such as pendants,
rings, and earrings.
Bowling balls are made from thick, hardened plastics like polyurethane
or polyester resin. These cover stocks often feature bright, swirled,
or pearlescent colours. When a ball cracks or retires from the alley,
craftspeople salvage the outer rind.
